NREA Privacy Policy

Overview
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies only to www.realtyexchangeadvisors.com, operated by  NREA Licensing, LLC. In this Privacy Policy, “NREA,” “we” or “us” refers to  NREA Licensing, LLC, the operator of the website www.realtyexchangeadvisors.com (the “Site”).  This Privacy Policy is not intended to govern any existing or future websites and/or services operated by third parties or companies affiliated with NREA, such as TIC property sponsors discussed below.

NREA recognizes that you care how information about you is used and shared.  This Privacy Policy describes (i) how we collect and use the personal information you provide on our Site, (ii) with whom we may share it and (iii) how we protect it. It also describes your choices regarding our use of your personal information and the steps you can take to access this information and to request that we correct or delete it.  This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is a part of the Terms of Use of this Site and we encourage you to become familiar with the terms and conditions contained herein. By accessing and using this Site, you agree that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy, and that you accept and consent to the privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy.

What Information Do We Collect?


This Site is not designed to appeal to, or attract, any person under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, request, receive or maintain any personal information from children.

NREA may collect various types of information from or about you. During the Site registration process required to review Tenant in Common (“TIC”) investment opportunities on this Site, you supply us with basic contact information (such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address). This information is generally entered into fields in the registration and subscription forms.

NREA may also retain the content of and metadata regarding any correspondence with NREA, regardless of the communication method (mail, email, etc.). This information helps NREA to improve the Site and the materials and services that we offer on the Site, and to more effectively and efficiently respond to current and future inquiries.

As with many other websites, the Web servers used to operate the NREA Site collect certain non-personally identifying information or data pertaining to you and the equipment and communications method that you use to access the Internet and the Site, such as the Internet protocol (“IP”) address assigned to your computer, the type of browser in use, pages you accessed on the Site or immediately prior to visiting the Site, and the length of time you spent at the Site.

This information is collected to, among other things, facilitate Site operation and system administration, to generate aggregate, non-identifiable statistical information, and to improve content and content delivery with regard to the Site and the materials, products and services that NREA makes available on the Site, and for other legitimate and lawful business purposes of NREA.

NREA uses “cookies” (small text files stored on your computer) to help track and customize your access and use of the Site. Cookies store and retain information that helps us recognize you when you return to the Site following a previous visit. Cookies may also store any login or ID assigned to you by NREA and the associated password, though this information is stored in encrypted form. How Do We Use The Information That We Collect?


Unless you otherwise consent, we will use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as contacting you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest, providing you information regarding your current real estate holdings or TIC investment opportunities offered by third party sponsors (a sponsor is the owner of property divided into individual TIC interests).  NREA does not share information collected about you with third parties, except when we are partnered with third parties, such as third party TIC property sponsors, to which we may also include links in our Site. We clearly identify third party (e.g., TIC sponsors) services and websites. When you request information or services regarding TIC investment opportunities, you are permitting us to provide your personal information to a third party to fulfill your request. Should you register to review TIC investment opportunities on this Site, you are allowing us to forward your personal information to the appropriate third party sponsor.  NREA will acknowledge your registration..  We may disclose your information if we are required to by a law enforcement action such as a court order, subpoena or search warrant.  

What Choices Do You Have?


You may update at any time the information about you and your personal preferences that is stored on the Site. You may also ask us at any time to remove your name from our list of Site users who wish to receive electronic communications and e-mail advertisements from NREA by simply sending such a request to us at the numbers or addresses given below. Once you opt-out, we will honor your choice until you inform us otherwise. Please remember, however, that if we have already shared information about you pursuant to your registration and participation in any special programs of our business associates (as described above), we have no control over how such business associates may further use that information and you will need to contact them directly in that regard.

How Do We Protect Information Collected About You?


NREA takes commercially reasonable measures to secure and protect customer-specific personal information transmitted via or stored on our Site. However, no security system is impenetrable.Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Site contains links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by NREA. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites.  We encourage you to seek out and read the privacy policy of any website that you visit. In addition, when you initiate a transaction on a website that our Site links to, even if you reached that site through our Site, the information that you submit to complete that transaction becomes subject to the privacy practices of the owner of that linked site.

Co-branded sites


NREA services may be co-branded and are offered in conjunction with a  third party TIC property sponsor.  If you register for or use such services, both NREA and the other company may receive information collected related to the co-branded services.  For example, if you register on this Site, we will share your personally identifiable information with such third party sponsors for the purpose of providing TIC property information to you.  You may opt-out of sharing this information with third party sponsors by not registering on this Site.  We are not responsible for such third parties’ privacy practices or content, and we recommend that you review their privacy policies in order to understand their privacy and information collection practices. 

Business Transfers


As NREA continues to grow and develop its business, it is possible that its corporate structure might change or that it might merge or otherwise combine with, or that substantially all of its assets might be acquired by, another company. In any such transactions, customer information generally should be expected to be one of the transferred business assets.

Changes to This Privacy Policy


From time to time, NREA may change its privacy practices because of changes in relevant and applicable legal or regulatory requirements, the business or business practices of NREA, or in its attempts to better serve your needs. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this Privacy Policy, the NREA homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  You will not be contacted individually about Privacy Policy changes.
